Senior Software Engineer
We need an experienced software engineer/developer with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our growing team and take responsibility for the development of a range of user applications. You’ll be involved with all aspects of the engineering process and must be confident in your ability to design and implement an application, taking responsibility for the whole development cycle.
This is a chance to make your mark in a tight team. You’ll be expected to be a self starter – eager to show what you can do with emerging technologies and best practices. MJog products are built using a wide range of cutting edge technologies. We fully embrace change and are especially interested in hearing from developers who have a high level of technical curiosity and strive to develop best of breed products.
An honours degree in a science/engineering discipline will be a distinct advantage, although if you have good experience in relevant tasks we’ll be pleased to hear from you.
As a minimum you must have experience of the following:
- Usability and interface design, plus experience working with web applications
- HTML, CSS, Javascript
- PHP, AJAX, Mysql, XML
- Experience of a high level framework such as Zend would be advantageous but not essential.
Salary £28,000 – £33,000 a year
