DNAs were running at about 12%, which adds up to six weeks of appointments. If we can reduce that by just 2% it will save the NHS £30,000 a month.by John Bain, Head of IM&T Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust
We chose to use MJog due to its integration with our current system, the automation of sending messages and the ease of use for our staff. The service has reduced our DNAs from 11.2 % to 8.6% in the early stages of the trial and we are now using the system in 14 departments throughout our hospital.

For every 1,000 appointment reminders we send, costing just £100, we are able to prevent 40 DNAs. These appointments can then be offered to other patients – helping us towards meeting our 18 weeks patient pathway objectives.by John Bain, Head of Information Management & Technology Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust
We saw a significant reduction in the number of missed appointments once MJog was installed. By the end of our free trial, we were able to report a 57% reduction in no shows and a 52% in late cancellations.
